Biography: Doctor in Basque Philology, he has been teacher of primary and secondary education. Nowadays, he teaches in the University of the Basque Country, in the Basque Philology Department. He has done plenty of literature translations to basque, as well as some research about children literature, orality and poetry. He has written poetry, essays and children tails. Among his works for children and young literature, we can find Begininiaren poemak (1992), Jonas eta hozkailu beldurtia (1998), Premio Euskadi de literatura infantil, Hamabi galdera pianoari (1999), Helena eta arrastiria (1999), Botoi bat bezala (1999), Atea kox-kox (2000), Jonasen iratzargailua (2001).
