[EN] Para entender el cambio de paradigma poético que se produce en el panorama literario español de fines del siglo xvi es necesario prestar atención a las colecciones impresas de romances que aparecieron entre 1589 y 1600. Estas colecciones dieron a conocer a los lectores el llamado Romancero nuevo. Los volúmenes impresos se caracterizaban por su título, que bajo el nombre de Flores de varios romances nuevos agrupaban poemas de diversos autores, y, también tenían en común el hecho de no indicar el nombre de sus creadores. El análisis de la primera Flor y las sucesivas ediciones de las Flores (hasta nueve) nos permite acercarnos a esta poesía y entender cómo fue el proceso de transmisión de los textos hasta el Romancero general de 1600.

[EN] In order to understand the change in poetic paradigm which took place in the Spanish literary scene at the end of the 16th century, one has to pay attention to the printed collections of ballads which appeared between 1589 and 1600. These collections introduced readers to the so-called Romancero Nuevo (New Ballad Collection). A distinguishing characteristic of these printed volumes was their title, which under the name of Flores de varios romances nuevos grouped together poems by different authors. These printed volumes also had in common the fact that they did not mention the name of those authors. An analysis of the first Flor and the successive editions of the Flores (up to nine) provides a sound approach to this poetry and an understanding of how the texts were transmitted up to the appearance of the Romancero General of 1600.
