- He chairs the association Arabako Bertsozale Elkartea and he is a board member of Bertsozale Elkartea as well.
He took up bertsolaritza when attending the bertso-eskola (bertsolaritza workshops) in Gasteiz. He has been member of the jury in the championships of Araba since 2005 and the National Bertsolaris Championship since 2009.
