- 30 years old and a journalist from Lapurdi (Labourd, in the north Basque Country). He was born in Uztaritze, also in Iparralde, and currently works on the Basque daily newspaper, Berria. He also works on the bertso radio programme on Gure Irratia. His second novel was published this year. This year is his second as judge at the National Championships.
