En los últimos años se han multiplicado los estudios en torno al fenómeno de la improvisación oral en verso. Resultan especialmente interesantes los que abordan la liturgia creativa que la improvisación desarrolla. Este trabajo pretende sumarse a esa línea y propone el análisis del proceso creativo y receptivo que genera el verso improvisado y su relación con el exhibicionismo tanto desde los peligros ególatras del repentista como desde la impudicia de un artista que concede a quienes degustarán su obra la posibilidad de conocer también el proceso que la ha gestado.

The phenomenon of verse improvisation has spawned a considerable amount of studies in the last years. Especially interesting are those dealing with the “creative liturgy” linked to the process of improvising. The present work aims to contribute to this field of research by analyzing both the creative and receptive processes embedded in verse improvisation. Furthermore, this essay tries to deal as well with the subtle ways in which these creative processes interact with the improviser’s exhibitionist behavior. Such issues are approached both from two different angles: on the one hand,from the point of view of the egotistic dangers assailing the improviser in every performance; on the other side, from the perspective of the improviser’s completely unabashed attitude in front of his work in the making. Thus, the improviser bestows upon those who relish his performance the possibility of sharing how the creative process brings forth the work here and now
