[PT] O presente trabalho apresentará uma proposta de utilização do poetry slam, forma de competição poética em que os autores declamam seus versos de protesto, como ferramenta pedagógica para estudantes do 7º ano do Ensino Fundamental, da Escola Monte Cabrão, situada na Área Continental do município de Santos. O objetivo principal desse projeto é despertar o protagonismo dos alunos envolvidos, resgatando o respeito pela diversidade presente na escola. Para alcançar os objetivos traçados, foi realizada uma pesquisa-ação, através de intervenções em sala de aula. A partir da concepção da multissemiótica, presente nessa modalidade cultural, foi elaborado um documentário pelos estudantes sobre o tema, explorando a ruptura da poética periférica e os enfrentamentos para que o slam adentre à literatura canônica do espaço escolar.
[EN] The present work will present a proposal for the use of poetry slam, a form of poetic competition in which the authors declaim their lines of protest, as a pedagogical tool for students of the 7th grade of Elementary School, of the Monte Cabrão School, located in the Continental area of the municipality of Santos. The main objective of this project is to awaken the protagonism of the students involved, rescuing the respect for the diversity present in the school. In order to reach the objectives outlined, I decided to carry out an action research, since as a full professor in the Portuguese Language course, of the class in question, I was able to make interventions throughout the developed practice. From the conception of the multisemiotic, present in this cultural modality, a documentary was elaborated by the students on the subject, exploring the rupture of the peripheral poetics and the confrontations so that the slam enters the canonical literature of the school space.
